大师道高德隆，誉满海内外。中国佛教协会会长一诚大师，为舒实波居士编撰的《传开大师行化剪影》一书，亲笔题写书名。中国佛协常务理事、中国佛学院副院长、北京市佛教协会会长、庐山东林寺方丈传印大师，书赠“朴实无华”四字，高度赞誉传开老和尚。2005年冬，原武宁县政协副主席、佛教协会会长、时年 85岁高龄的张罗老人，挥毫泼墨，凝情笔端，欣然题词：“苦行僧、活菩萨。洞云宗、传衣钵。娑婆行化播慈悲，度已度人求了脱。”充分表达了一位老者对大师伟大人格高山仰止之崇敬情怀。有关颂赞传开老和尚的文章、诗词，不胜枚举，这里只是撮其一二。
