The color of ancient Buddha statues was placed on the niches for
worship. After a long history of fireworks, sun and moon erosion,
especially the surface color of gilt bronze statues was dim, and the
light reflected back in the sun was soft. The newly imitated and old
processed bronze statues of Buddha are more dazzling in refracting
light.
The technology is limited by the ancient production technology. After
casting, the Buddha statues need to be treated with meticulous sculpture
techniques, and the traces of expression, clothing and base processing
can be seen clearly. The modern bronze Buddha statues are polished by
using mechanism to produce very regular processing traces.
The smell of ancient bronze Buddha can be smelled by long-term worship
and fumigation; if buried underground for a long time, the smell of
mildew and decay can be smelled. Modern imitations smell chemical
