古代佛像被放在佛龛上供奉，久历人间烟火，日月侵蚀，特别是鎏金铜造像表层颜色暗淡，在阳光下折射回来的光线柔和。新仿、做旧处理过的铜铸佛像折射光线较刺眼。受古老的生产工艺限制，浇铸成型后的佛像要经过细致雕塑技法处理，表情、服饰、底座加工痕迹清晰可见。现代铜铸佛像使用机制打磨，生成极有规律的加工痕迹。
Ancient Buddha statues are worshipped on the niches. They have been exposed to fireworks, sun and moon erosion for a long time. Especially the surface of gold and copper statues is dim in color, and the light reflected in the sun is gentle. Copper-cast Buddha statues, which are newly imitated and treated as old ones, reflect more dazzling light. Due to the limitation of the ancient production technology, the cast Buddha statue should be processed by meticulous sculpture techniques, and the processing trace of expression, clothing and base can be clearly seen. Modern copper-cast Buddha statues are polished by using a mechanism to produce very regular traces of processing.
